    When backlinking to a wordpress page which format do you use?

    eg;

    http://domain.com/content/

    or

    http://domain.com/content

    Does it matter? It seems to me that google will also index the page with a / on the end but how much weight does this hold?

    I used to add the / on the end but lately i'v been backlinking to my pages with it.

    Does anyone know if this matter?

    I dont think it really matters with wordpress, but I always include the / at the end since that is how the page shows up in the address bar.

    In this video, Matt Cutts says that its slightly better to use http://domain.com/content/ instead of http://domain.com/content, but it shouldnt make an enormous difference as long as you are consistent
