Use some structure with the way you create the blogs - don't just make random blogs pointed at your money site. Create real blogs with quite a bit of content and links to other sites and mix your articles in with these. Keep a list of all of the article URLs you create. Change the blogs to use SEO Friendly links. Make the titles keyword rich. You want to create the blogs as if you were wanting the to rank for the keyword itself.
With the list of article urls you can use more spammy methods to promote these blogs and pages. Pligg these links as well. It isn't hard to get a site to PR3 or PR4 if you backlink it properly. You can interlink your blogs as well but don't just use 1 large linkwheel. Make it appear natural (random). Once these blogs have a nice PR you will have some very powerful places to drop your links and they will do a lot more good than posting on a random blog with 100 other people.

The process I use for making my blogs is as follows -
- Create 1000 random blogs with Keyword rich titles. (The 1000 blogs all relate to the one niche).
- Wait 1 day.
- Enable XML posting on all blogs.
- Send out a spun welcome message related to the subject for the blog.
- Wait 1 day.
- Send out 3 posts with no links to all of the blogs.
- Wait 1 day.
- Send out 1 more post with no links.
- Let the cron job remove all non-working blogs. (leaves about 200-300).
- Sort my remaining blogs into different categories and tag the categories.
- Post appropriate articles to the different categories, mixing up my links with external links.
- Save the SEO Friendly article url and do mass commenting with scrapebox, rss submission etc.
- After I have about 15 articles on a category of blogs I linkwheel them.
- When I have 2 categories complete I link one blog from the 1st category to 1 blog in the 2nd category (I am creating a vertical link wheel BUT am not linking all blogs together).
- Every so often I do more backlinking to these articles to boost the PR.
- I create random blogs that links back to the structured LFE blogs.
