No, I was referring to what Jagged55 said. Meaning that he'wouldn't be hijacking the thread. A comment spammer indeed ads value to LFE.
Just send Jagged55 the PM, and he will tell you what to get and do.
LFE does the article postings, and the other the comments. (BTW also add your keywords to the comments.)

Now your asking. I do, especially when starting up autoblogs.
Adding to what I already mentioned. To make the blog/post look less dead. To attract search bots. To add alternative backlinks to some of my other money sites in the same niche, in an attempt to send the visitors round-and-round in my ring of sites. To give the impression that my site is heavily visited, and discourage newbies from entering the same niche.
And some others I'm not going to mention.
If it is not an autoblog, the comments (and sometimes heated debates) are planned at the same time the blog post is written and spammed by hand.

I do the comment spamming for the autoblogs also. Super easy way to get some quick PR etc with so little effort. And it seems like a necessary step for LFE as we are creating thousands of sites that have so wait to be spidered before any "real" value comes from them. I don't mean that as a knock against LFE, just offering a way to maximize the value of it.

Yes comment spamming will help. But to be honest, you can achieve the same backlinks with pligg postings. I have some nice PR backlinks thanks to LFE and pligg.
All you need to do is get all the links you did for blog creatiion/post and paste them into the pligg section and boom instant backlinks.
Another simple way to get easy backlinks is to paste them into bookmarkwiz and let it do the work for you.

With comment spamming you can do more than build backlinks alone.
EDIT: Re-reading my reply above, it could come across as an attack at LFE. Which it is definitely not.
Otherwise I wouldn't have bought LFE. It was in reaction to this line :
