Are there any link exchange programs out there? I tried to search using "link farm" and "link exchange" but to no avail.

http://link2me.com is a free link exchange. its pretty good (I've just come off it a minute ago!). There is a paid subscription its $29 per year and for that you get unlimited requests, link management etc.

Try "Automatic Link Exchange Software" and "Link Machine".

This one works pretty well for me:

    Code:
    http://www.automaticbacklinks.com
You just add some php code at the bottom of your php pages (obviously the pages have to have .php extensions) and as long as the page the code is on has a PR greater than or equal to 1, they place backlinks that are relevant to your site's theme (you tick off some checkboxes for the themes your site is based on) on those pages. You earn a certain amount of credits for every external link you have on your pages (courtesy of the code you placed on the page/s) and you use those to create a campaign/s where you "spend" a certain amount of credits (per external link to your site) to place your site's backlink on someone elses site (who is also signed into the system).

I am not sure if these guys have obvious footprints or not (that would adversely affect S.E rankings etc) but if someone thinks they do let me know...

I used to be in this program, I didn't find any other problems, but context of the links were poor by default. On the other hand you could approve and remove links and sites, so its pretty flexible system. Cache files, that are collecting to your server, tends to grow up fast too. Installation of their script requires php support.

Yes, I know that link exchange is pretty out dated, but it's worth giving everything a shot.

Definitely take a look at Digitalpoint. Also, if you're looking for one way link exchange with a PR 3 site pm me and we can sort something out.

Yea, so I'm making this three way link exchange app, where you own the app (site C), your partner site B and you your primary site A. Then links goes C -> B -> A and no connection between A and C.
