Link Emperor + Youtube? Does the strategy work anymore?

So I am new to link building and I am trying to rank a few of my videos on Youtube. I already have a good number of videos ranking on the first page without any kind of backlinking involved, so my on video SEO is perfect. But I would like to have the rest on the first page as well

. I am thinking of giving Link Emperor a try to build backlinks to give them a boost, but I've heard it has little to no effect these days. How about social signals?

I am not planning on buying youtube views, shares or likes.

Any suggestions or advice.

I have never tried backlinks on YouTube videos but as far as it works for me, social signals really do the job.

I've tried backlinks on my videos before and honestly I didn't see much of a change if any.

Its all about watch time with YouTube.
