Link density for blog post

Hi. Does anybody know if Google takes into account the link density on a specific page or post? I've started a blog and I have around 10 links for a 500 words post and I would like to know if the ratio is ok. I'm concerned not to get penalized by Google if I inject my posts with to many links.

Link density ? Never heard though.
The only thing I remember about density in term of SEO is keyword. Not Link

from 500 words if you want links make only 2 or 3. 10 is too much according to me.

It depends on how many are NOFOLLOW and how many are ********. Obviously, you want to keep DF links to a minimum (none if possible).

For a blog post (that is not paid for link building purposes), 0 - 2 DF links are a number I am comfortable with (and they should point to the same niche/topic). As for NF links, I don't care. Link to as many naturally as you want. Any more than that (for DF) then you should increase word count.

If you also have internal links, link to homepage, to other posts, + 10 external links is way too much.

Don't push out more than 10 internal links.
