Indeed, I think mostly everyone uses Scrapebox for link checking. Mainly because the price tag on SB is cheap, and it's a versatile tool. In my experience, the link checker isn't 100% perfect but it gets the job done.
I use it to clean up our Article Marketing Robot reports.

he is right, sometimes it says not found but your link is actually there.
i think this is a proxy problem not sb.

None link checker is 100% accurate. But that isn't the link checkers fault. Sometimes the server which hosts the page you want to check is fucked up and reports a temporary 404 or 503 error. So the link checker isn't able to check this page.
Can also happen that the server is very slow and you get a time out, although your link is there.
