What are the 2nd tier sites that you use to build backlinks? In other words, I'm working on my keyword research right now, then I'm going to write between 8-10 high quality unique articles and post them on sites like squidoo and ezine. These are the sites that will link to my main site. I will spin those articles with backlinks from the spun articles to the sites that link to my main site.

I guess I actually have two questions: how many levels of sites do you use to create link juice, and what sites do you usually link to your main site?

I think the best way is to create a 'buffer site', which is a hubpages/squidoo/ezinearticle whatever page, linked to your website, then get some software like scrapebox to spam backlinks to your buffer site, which will hopefully get some link juice, which will then be passed onto your website and it's a legit backlink, never had any sandboxing issues with buffer sites.
