    Is this feasible?

I buy older domains that have PR rank.

I set them up on a server with a unique IP.

I then link those sites to whatever my money sites are.

I rinse and repeat over and over. So for each site I get a new server so I will have a unique IP. Or I just add an additional IP on my server.

Is this a good way to build some nice solid back links that I would control?

As long as you maintain the PR.

A domain isn't going to carry PR for very long once the site changes.
