Link building [ Youtube Channel commenting ]

So I've heard that backlinks are made by going to channels that are ranked on youtube by going on Google and typing:
www.youtube.com/user

Then simply clicking on the user - Browse Videos - Comments.
You then comment something related and post your Youtube video's link which creates a backlink to your video.
You need to comment as your Channel Name.

Why must someone post relative comments before posting the link?
Why can't the comments be random or why can't it be just the url?

I do a lot of channel commenting to try to rank my video.

1. I guess, because if it is something spammy, then the channel owner may remove your comment. I always look at one of their video titles, and say something like - "VIDEOTITLE" helped me a lot.

2. Same reason as above. There is no point in putting your video URL. You are already getting a backlink to your channel. Your video is in your channel's featured tab. So all the link juice is passing to the video.

What if you load the comments all the way at the end, Copy them and paste?
I think Youtube does not post the comment if there is alot of duplicate in it.

I really don't get you? You mean to say, that you want to take all the comments of various people and then put that in your comment? Why would you want to do that?

Are you sure the owners delete comments as spam?
I see 1 word commends on all channels and none are deleted?

Some do, some don't. Some have already moderated comments. So, to pass those, you have to put quality comments.
