Link Building Strategy

I'm building an authority domain and want to keep my links as clean as possible i.e. higher pr links authority links.

Right now I have an official Wikipedia link exactly related to my niche. Only problem of coarse it's nofollow, but I figure it's still worth something since it's on Wikipedia.

My question is, I want to start building higher quality backlinks, and one particular thing I want to do is submitting to article directories. Now most article directories, except for ezine and others the page you create the article on is not the same pr as the home page.

Is it still worth me putting an article on that site? If it has a PR 4+ homepage?

Dude, most of any link you get will have no PR on it. Unless you do some blog comments or buy some high pr pages. I would not worry about it and yes it does help but one article from a PR 4 is not going to do anything.

I can't really offer advice on building high quality stuff since I use a lot of garbage, but I would suggest doing some quality web 2.0 sites and backlinking those. Can't go wrong with some link pushes

Well, getting high Pr backlinks are harden then it is to get 100 PR n/a backlinks. Well, I can say that I have a ton if not all PR n/a backlinks and they do work. It depends on what road you want to go. Building thousands of shitty backlinks, which you don't know how long it will work for. Or searching to find those super high quality backlinks.

Create tiers. First tier being your most high quality links and the last tier being your shittiest quality.

No definitely not. I will build anything that will allow me to build a link. But there is more to it then just blasting away. Many different factors I just did not want to give some one bad advice

Yes it's still worth getting. Article links from none public sources are particularly powerful. You can get them from people with private networks who advertise here or from services like build my rank.
