Same boring as usual pbns, guest posts, niche edits, and then tier 2 on niche edits and pbns easy peasy and oh quality over quantity

Yeah, they do, but you need some tweaks. 2 day before I saw a site which is in mp3 niche with a lot tiered back links. This 1.5 year old site has only 4 indexed pages but getting 511k traffic according to sem rush.
Basically what he did is that, he bought a guest post on good ranking guest post farm. That post target a closely related keyword targeted by one of his competitor. Most importantly he sprinkled all of his competitors links through out the article in h3 and h4 titles and maid them no follow. 3 do-follow links are in the article. In which 2 of them goes to authority sites which talk about albums. Then he used very rare web 2.0s to make tired back-links to this page. All of them are spun contents but unique. I believe he used a lot spinned twitter tweets in those posts. Because most of them had hash tags.
In all those posts he maid links on that specific keyword targeted by one of his competitor.
