It takes lot of $$ and time to rank in Google nowadays. So, better to go with high-quality links like guest posting, niche edits works well. You can even add some high-quality PBN to push the ranking higher.
 
Tier backlinks is the current one. As usual Like Guest Post and PBN etc.
 
Use Resource Links From Trusted Sites, Create and Distribute Infographics, Use Strategic Guest Blogging and Get Active on Social Media.

If you have a big budget just try forbes huffingtonpost link or authority website

One Backlink it will be huge different
 
For Guest posting you need to spend some $ the results will be on long term, where as PBN you will get quick and short term results ..
