I have been reading the different link building techniques that I could find on the website. From the posts that I was reading it normally takes anywhere between six to twelve months to see results of your link building campaign which is fair enough.

My questions is how often do you do you SEO for a keyword(s)?
1. for example keyword 'web directory', it's ok to do Forum posts, Press Release, Web 2.0, Article Submission, Bookmarking, etc, daily?
2. Should I do it twice or 3 times a week?
3. Will you for example one day do forum posts, next day, web 2.0, next day, social bookmarking and then start the cycle again?
4. Is it better to do it weekly? (one week forum posting, next week social bookmarks and so on..)

5. Should I concentrate in targeting one keyword at the time or can I target several keywords at once?

Just trying to workout how frequently should I do SEO on a website without spamming the website or getting penalized by google

Cheers,

Henry

For SEO you have to do it on regular basis .

And about targetting keywords, , target more keywords / anchor diversity .

Also use raw urls , some dummy keywords and your fine .

Those SEO stats are a bit off if you plan on using those link building techniques. If you build links the way you say you will be doing, you should see results in 3 weeks no problem. Make everything look natural and find or buy some high pr links to post your link on.

I agree with this. If it takes you 6 months to see any results from your link building then you are doing something seriously wrong.

Pty10,

As mentioned by the other members, just ensure that you make your link building look natural. If you make it happen too fast you will be penalized. Link profiles vary from niche to niche so it is hard to say how fast or slow you should be building links. I would suggest avoiding spikes in your profile (i.e. building links at a steady pace and all of a sudden there are tons of backlinks to your site). That just screams manipulation. Varying your anchor text is also very important. If you have 1,000 links pointing to your site all with the same anchor text, you will not last very long.

Maybe you can find some ideas here,

Best,

Shawn

Good advices here, this is not an exact science, so the most important is always to test things by yourself, after that you will know which info is really valuable in forums
