link building methods

What works for me is I create a Web 2.0's PBN of 40+ High DA blogs which they are pointing directly to my money sites. Then I create Tier2 links of Social Bookmarkings and url shorteners. Finally, I index the Tier1 links and the results I get are amazing. Also, I've noticed an increase in the Domain Authority of my money sites. Not much but in conjuction with good rankings it proves to me that this works.

Convert your blog posts to pdf and submit it to document sharing sites, such as Scribd, Google Docs, DocStoc and Gazhoo.
 
You have to brake it down to Backlinks that pointing to your Money Sites and Tier2+ backlinks.

Safe Backlinks as Tier1
- Web 2.0's Blogs
- Authority Websites (Profiles
- Edu links
- Gov Links
- PDF Upload sites
- High Quality Social Bookmarking sites
- Social signals

Tier2+
- Article Directories
- Low Quality Social Bookmarkings
- Wiki websites
- Forum profiles

Do not use at all (IMO)
- Directories
- Blog Commenting

If you follow this advise you will create a super diversified link profile but of course do not over do it with the number of links that you get each day.
 
I guess all the mentioned methods still work, it's just that their traction differs now. As most mentioned, blog commenting and guest posting have the most traction if done right or is most efficient.
 
All types of link work. The point here wich one are easy to get. As others said, blog commenting , social bookmarking seems to be easier these days
 
IMO Blog commenting must be done the right way. I mean that if you comment on a blog post which has already 100's of other comments and it is Do-Follow, then it means that the link juice will be split to all those other links. So the value you get is 0 even from an Authoritative website.
 
Comment backlinks won't work for greater extent. It can improve you jump few rankings but I think it's waste of time since quality blogs take time to approve the comments and blogs that auto-approves comments, they are spammed with anchor text based keywords. I won't recommend it.

As you share above linkbuiding techiniques are still worth but I thing you should update some high valuable technique in your linkbuilding technique.

You will not get a tons of guest post with high authority backlinks, you will have to pay to get a ******** link. Directory links works but haven't a lot of SEO juice. The key is to get trafic volumes, and develop your social media strategy (Facebook).
 
blog commenting still work till 2017 it's powerful but you have ti comment on such high DA website and related to your niches.

Still everything works good if you do it naturally. SB, IS, AS will drive good traffic to your target website but web2.0, Guest post and PBN give both quality links and traffic. There are some rules you have to follow while doing web2.0, Guest post and PBN at the same time you should follow Google's terms and conditions. What are the link building methods you have done yet?

It depends on the niche, all these methods may work for one niches and be useless for another. To check this is to test all of them.
Profile links give some weight, but they are a good option to diversify backlink profile.
Social bookmarking, Guest posting, Q&A websites are good. Image submission is very specific being great for infographics and visuals.
