Link-Building inner pages

Hello forum,

So far I have been building links mainly to my homepage through guest posts and it is working fine for all I know.

What I am struggling with is getting links to the actual blog posts and articles.

The skyscraper technique doesn't really work for me and out of more than 300 mails I get exactly 0 links, as I believe that the skyscraper technique is already so well known, that enquiries like that are only seen as spam nowadays.

Placing the links to my pages in guest post, isn't really feasible as most websites don't allow links in text.

Do Do-Follow web 2.0 links have any value and if so, what would be Your strategy?

I know that the best way to get links to pages would be through quality, but is there any way I could actively work on getting links to the pages myself?

WEB2 still working with a proper T2 (do everything manually).

You can do all the outreach work yourself but these days I'm afraid no one gives a link for free.

Thanks for the list, but I don't think it really tackles my problem.

As of now, my pages purely rank off of my DA and internal linking, but I think especially for keywords and posts that I want to take from the bottom of Page 1 to the TOP 3 it would be a lot easier to get some external links to said blog-posts of mine. Without these external links I feel, that they will never get past this threshold. Therefore I am searching for a way to build these links manually myself (white-hat).

What I am lacking is a strategy to get these links to my blog posts, as skyscraper isn't working for me and I don't believe that broken linkbuilding would be any better.

When analyzing my competitors, their links are often generated years ago and I feel that most websites are very hesitant in linking or at best just no-follow the link, although the content very worth linking to.

So I believe, that it would help me tremendously in pushing specific pages if I could built links directly to them.

I just don't have any good idea how I could get those links, as guest posting mostly works for my homepage.

It depends on your type of articles on inner pages, I have used guest posts to inner pages on a couple of sites, where the article is more of an indepth informational piece.

That's what I try to do also, but it feels that it is very inefficient to write a complete guest post just for one link to an inner page when ideally I need a few backlinks to improve in ranking.

An alternative to the skyscraper strategy or advice for it where I could outreach in bulks and (in-theory) could build many links to a specific page would be great.

So far the only backlinks that I get to my posts are mostly from cross-posting to a Medium publication, Blog comments or Forum posts.

Of course, that doesn't help really much and acquiring some "real" quality links would help a lot. But so far I have not really discovered a way in how to get those relevant links.
