I have blog based on Celebrities Wiki.

But In my competition most of the blogs have links from Big authority blogs, like- businessinsider, yourstory, big news sites.

So my question is should I also have to buy some high Authority links like that with heavy price or I can still do well with some others links?

Please suggest me your opinion?

I also saw a website in my competition doing superb without that kind of authority links, maybe he is using some good PBNs. But I'm not using PBNs and other stuff.

You definitely should get those links. Start buying or outreaching for high quality guest post.

Build the kind of link that your competitors are building. Also, build good PBNs
 
So you're wandering if high authority sites or PBNs would do the trick for you?

The only way to answer is try :)

PBNs , well, you have everything here on bhw. For quality links, try to learn how to do HARO and give it a try.

Of course I'm not considering your budget here. Both can be expensive if done well, but worth it
 
Start with PBN and then gradually increase your budget.
 
yes, real backlinks are good, it's a hard little buy it helps in your ranking.
I do notrecommendd pbn.
 
High quallity backlinks either PBN or guestpost helps to improve your ranking for sure.
Spammy backlinks are hurt your site badly.
