Link Building for ranked site

Hi Friends,

One of the posts in my website is ranking on the 1st page (between 8th-10th position). It has ranked purely based on on-page SEO and the authority of my homepage. I haven't do any link building for that post. The keyword it is ranking has a somewhat good earning potential.

What should I do to get higher ranking (less than 5th position) in 1st page?

I can spent max $100 per month.

Should I buy PBN posts for that? I think I can buy about 10 PBN posts for $100. But I'm concern about the quality. I do not want to loose the ranking I have already.

Or should I go for (buy) guest posts. I will have to pay $100 for 1 guest post on a good site. So I will have to wait few more months to gain few links.

(Yeah I know. manual Outreach is the best than paying for links. But it will rarely work as my site is for affiliate marketing. )

Please advice as my budget is tight. Thanks in advance.

What affiliates or cpa do you follow?

Either will work, although homepage PBN links will undoubtedly be more powerful. The trick is to get links from providers that are experienced and don't link to spam domains. Google typically won't penalize you, but they have gotten better at devaluing links lately. @reallife 's platinum network might be a good fit. Drip over 30 to 60 days?

The biggest ranking factor (according to data from Ahrefs) is amount of quality backlinks pointing to a specific page. Ahrefs calls this "UR".

Not far behind that though, is the amount of quality backlinks pointing to the root domain (ahrefs calls this "DR").

So, to answer your question, pointing links to the page you want to rank is the best way to boost it's SERPs. This is why siloing and long form content is best. You can build links to one page that ranks for many keywords.

In my experience, I build about 50% links to homepage, and 50% links to whatever pages I'm trying to rank at the time (I'm usually hitting two to three posts at a time with links).

So for example. If I'm building 30 links a month to an established site, the breakdown would look like this:

yourdomain.com - 15 links (50%)
yourdomain.com/dog-toys - 5 links
yourdomain.com/dog-treats - 5 links
yourdomain.com/walking your dog - 5 links

As soon as I start getting some traction with the blog posts, I will switch to other posts while continuing to build links to the homepage.

PBN or No PBN doesn't matter. What matter is that single link which brings targeted visitor.
As that Link will provide much more in terms of metric over time.
