In 2021, the strategy was "I am a crypto expert", in 2022, the strategy was "I am an AI expert" and in 2023, the strategy is "I am a link building expert". There have been a few people lucky enough to make their "strategies" work, and some have been unlucky enough to fall for such "strategies".

This is as true as it gets. Everyone lies about everything online. Everyone is an expert at everything yet the same selling their expert services can't even rank a basic WP site. While this forum is a good resource and there are plenty of decent people who can help with advice, there is a large percentage id say 90%+ who sell services that are just complete garbage and will do nothing but permanently damage your chances of success.
Moral of the story is belive nothing, question everything and don't fall for the crap you hear
