Link-assistant - any good?

Anyone used link-assistant.com - if so is it any good?

I use the rank tracker software which is really good in my opinion. The other software in the suite, Web auditor, spyglass etc. I found to be too slow for real production uses but it's built in reports can come in handy if you're providing this as a service to clients.

BuzzBundle I think is very outdated and extremely slow.

I guess it all depends on how you use it but it's a nice suite to have in your toolbox overall.

I have used it (We have a similar SEO Tools Suite and I regularly check Link-assistant and other SEO tools suite for competitor analysis).

You may find my suggestion biased (As I am associated with one another All-in-one SEO tools suite), but here is what I think.

Link Assistant was designed to make link building easier but it was originally designed to get links from links pages, link exchanges etc.

The truth is that SEO is continuing to evolve and because of this, there are some features you may not want to use. This is where you may get disappointed with it.

That said, LinkAssistant is still a very helpful tool when used correctly.

If you are open to explore other tools, have a look at SERPed.net (shameless plugin)

You can use it to identify blogs to reach out to (for guest posting for example), key metrics (like DA, PA, Moz Rank, CF, TF, Link age) to know the quality of the backlinks and then keep track of the links you have earned/acquired.

Rank tracker is well built but has annoying limitation. In a project you can only track 1 site and 10 competitors. I have 25 sites with overlapping keywords. So I have to check every keyword 3 times across three projects... so I out grew the product and built my own. Dedicated anonymous Socks proxies help

I actually think the powersuite is pretty good.

It's not the best, but like it's pretty good and I enjoy having it around.

But I find for any specific task there is a service or something else that is much better at doing that specific task, but it's a good backup.
Rank tracker is really not too shabby at all, and with some creativity you can get some use out of the other tools, but they are a bit of a load on the computer the software feels 'bulky'

I like having desktop based software tools to use, but I think you really need to ask about which specific part of their package you are most wanting to use, this would really be the key to figuring out if they are for you

Overall I like them and would recommend them.

Link Assistant is good, if you exactly know what you want.. There are chances of this tool getting mis-used by pseudo experts and they end up making a mockery of themselves.
