Limited Paypal help!

It says I cant withdraw my money for 180 days.. I have $5k on my account for selling marketing services on my facebook fan pages. How can I get my money back?

Would I be able to ask my customers to refund the money and pay it via another method?
Can I transfer the money to somebody elses account to withdraw?
Reason with Paypal somehow? I attached my bank to the account.

Please help! It's really stressing me out.

Im sure you could be able to buy something with this pending money..so what would i do is...ask some friend to make pay now button on their site or something..and just simply purchase imaginary product and your money is out of limited pp. i hope this will work.

Sorry to hear. paypal is really a pain in the ass... Try to call them to explain the situation.
 
Had the same thing happen about 40 days ago (with 500 locked)... It said 180 days... but 4 days ago i was bored, i tried to withdraw the money and it did it anyway (even though it said its limited)

I think you proabbly saw a warning that your account was soon going to be limited.. Once its limited you can't move that money. Depending on the reasons, its more or lesss easy to unlimit it, usually a scan of your ID works fine. Good luck.
 
Called them. They said they cant do anything - they want me to email my docs to get an appeal. How succesful are appeals? I was just thinking of refunding my clients money and having them just wire the money.
 
You'll be at the mercy of Paypal on the appeal, even with the docs submitted. Negotiating with the clients to refund, and resend you the money is a more reliable route.
 
Any alternatives to accepting visa payments online? Thanks for all the help guys!

Lol PayPal fail.
 
Got it figured out. Money was refunded and a wire was sent instead. Lesson.. never use paypal again! They lost a valuable customer. My previous business was processing $50k/month via Paypal. We made a switch to Stripe - much better. Thanks again for the help guys.

Doesnt Stripe have lower fees as well? Have you tried Bitcoin?
 
You don't need to worry. They will release the money for withdraw after 180 days. It's a long time tho
