I have a bunch of full-post RSS feeds that I want to use for my autoblog. However, I want to only grab a certain amount of words from those feeds, so I'm not ripping off the entire post. Is there any way that I can limit the number of words that I grab from the feed per post?

Currently the only way to do this is to this is to create a Yahoo Pipe filter for the feed:

    pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/

I believe the sub-string function will do it.

I supposeI should post what I tried. The sub string function only cuts on the uhh.. small scale. Like with words. I hear if you put a number too high, the function will become useless. So I tried placing the feed generated by Yahoo Pipes into Feed Burner and using the Summary Burner option to cut down the post to my desired length. However, that scrapes the post of all html which robs it of any images. I've been looking into Yahoo Pipes and I do not believe there is such a function that can create a summary rather than a full post. Any help?
