Limit to how many users I can follow?

I'm just starting an Instagram account. I'm manually going into hashtags and adding people, no bots here.
Is there a limit on how many I can add before raising flags? Or does Instagram not care how many people you add? I know Facebook does,but does Instagram?

I see there are a lot of bots around. Are these worth the money and how do they find users? Randomly or can you add specific hastags for it to search?

Well I followed roughly 242 users manually; in a very short amount of time... probably within an hour or so. Now when I click follow on someone, it turn green like I'm following them for just a mere split second then turns back gray as I'm not following them. Looks like Instagram put a block on allowing me to follow users currently. Will this be removed, or am I already suspended after day 1? lol

Sounds like you are blocked for 24hrs. It may have changed since the last time I've manually follow by fingers. I follow 50 and stop for 10 minutes. Continue again for another 50 and stop for 10 mins. I follow 1k a day using this method.

It is a pain now since you have to confirm for ever follow. It wasn't so before they updated.

I got a bot and it made gaining followers alot easy. Set it and let it run all day long. Follow Liker is best if you have multiple accs, otherwise, Instagram Mega Bot is ok.

Yes, it's only a 24 hour suspension.
