Im not sure if this is new but for a while my engagement increased on my instagram. I stopped following/unfollowing because I was sick of it and I started to run the likes on FL. Then yesterday I told to myself ok why not do the follows again and bam my engagement dscreased so MUCH. I went from 700-850 likes on my pictures to 350-450. That confirms that theory for me:

What sucks is that commenting is amazing too but We all get blocked so easily I hope we will at least be able to keep liking without any problem for a while
but this is for me maybe some of you dont have this problem.

Sort of same thing happen to me.
In my case I did only likes (never follow/unfollow) I did 2000 likes all days during 6 months, my engagement was growing in average until First February.
I shaw a drop on likes I received in average from 970 to 900 and now 750. I did stop FL bot for one week and still.
I believe (my guess only) that Instagram is using sort new algorythim that assigns sort of "Quality Score", the user that heavily do follow/unfollow get this block back following, accs doing lots of likes will not come up on Populars/Recommend page so they will only have likes from followers or likes back...
My acc is 44K followers and I'm seeing other accs with 15K users doing 1500 likes/pic
I'm investigating but yes I think we are going to have hard time from now on... and the most important... will we get back to "normal" situation even if we stop the bot???
p.s. will be nice if other users share their thoughts on this one!
