Like worm?

My entire newsfeed is filled with

friend liked quote at "☺" or "♥" and the links for most are disabled..Facebook says when clicking they are reported phishing sites.. Did someone finally do a like worm that spread like wildfire?

I don't know what's been going on with those sites recently, but they were some of the first sites to put a page title/ads/like button up that people could add their own pages to. They've been all over facebook for a few months.

yeah I have seen them for months as well but just recently it seems like they are spreading like a worm

Well yea, how do you think people who phish FB spread their script? This is one of the main ways and this is nothing new; it was happening on MySpace before FB came along, it was just automatically spreading in a different way.

and it is good even fb finds it hard to fight these worms..... some of us are very smart

It is really not hard to fight these "worms" at all. Most anti-virus programs and web browsers will detect the domains these scripts are being hosted on as "Web Forgery" (or something of the sort) before FB even gets a chance to mark them as abusive themselves. If you are really serious, just buy 200 bulletproof domains and spread; once all (or most) of your domains are detected and blocked, rinse and repeat. Owned.

Note: I highly suggest against anyone doing anything of the sort. It is nothing but trouble if you do not know exactly what you are doing.
