They would need about 10000 a year to make a respectable salary for one person. that is like 28 signups a day consistantly per person (maybe less if they weren't paid as much).

They'd have to take the entire hosting industry. This is highly unlikely that this would happen, they would have to be extremely reputable (which it looks like they arent)

I own a web hosting company and am debating whether we offer a $1.95/mo, unmetered bw and storage. Unmetered doesn't mean unlimited. Unlimited is a sales gimmick. However, it's possible to give the client plenty of storage and data transfer. I am also considering offering reller and master reseller plans under $10 and, of course, some specials for people here. But right now, I'm just thinking about it. Hosting is a dime a dozen out there.

I would be carefull of any cheap/unlimited/lifetime hosting offers!

Hosting afterall put's your site's on the web and the time and frustration caused by them 'dying' on you is soo annoying!

I know it's tempting to go for the cheap and amazing looking offers but even the big so called good companies like hostgator have their teething problems with their unlimited services and force you to upgrade if you use too many resources.

looks like a scam. someone probably put it up hoping to get some bank off of it and then is gonna shut it down

First of all, anyone who believes in lifetime hosting shouldn't be on this forum. Second, the site is hosted with BlueHost. Third, I would watch out, because it seems to be infected with malware.

Defo a scam, they take as much money as they can and then the site just dissapears. no-one can uphold a lifetime hosting for a mere $6
