Lifetime 10% commission or one time 50%, what's preferred?

Hi All,

I have a question.

Right now we have an affiliate program for our Saas service (will not mention the name to prevent unintended promotion).
We offer a 10% commission on all orders paid by the referred customer for life, also including monthly subscriptions kickbacks.

The average spend per customer is $ 312 per month and the average lifetime is 15 months.
Would you prefer a 50% one time commission or a 10% ongoing?
