License plate lookup...

Ok, if this post doesn't belong - my apologies...

Tonight after driving home and pulling into the garage, I noticed a car follow me home and sit a couple houses back... After 5 minutes they drove off pretty fast (3 people in the car)... I jumped in my other lexus and caught up to them to get their license plate... I could not see who was in the car, but called the police to file a report.

Why I'm explaining this whole store, I have no clue... My question is.... Is there a website or service online that can tell me the owners name of a car? Note: I am willing to pay for this information

Theres gotta be a way. The insurance companies have all this information.

There is no legal way of looking up such information.

I know right.... Private Investigators, police, etc... but I still am unable to find a reliable site that claims or can show me they can accomplish this... Anyone?

Unless you are a law enforcement or government official,
you cannot legally access the Dept. of Motor Vehicles
database.
