I second that.
If you are looking for a free and open source office suite, I would suggest you to choose LibreOffice over OpenOffice. LibreOffice is more updated, flexible, compatible and feature-rich than OpenOffice. It also has more support and users in the open source community.

Libre Office because it gets frequent updates.
Yes, I was hopping OpenOffice is still getting updates, but it seems LibreOffice is the new number one, thanks.

libre office is objectively better than open office. always has been.
both are trash when it comes to the features and usability you get out of real deal office suite like m365/google docs.
only reason to use libre/open office is if you are pro-libre...and even then, those tools are painful to use for any serious spreadsheet work.
