For those of you who initially send letters to businesses, what "formula" or structure do you use that returns the best results. or do you have any suggestions?

I'm looking into offering discount website design (really cheap price and the site is developed quickly or from a template (still high in quality)) I'm planning to play a quantity game instead of having a few high value businesses for now that can come later when I am more experienced with dealing with people as I'm young (19 in sept) and have limited experience doing anything like that. hopefully I will be able to get some of them on a few extra services (ppc, facebook, seo, places or a better website etc...).

I want to sort of excite them so they want to call back and are basically sold to the idea already but without lying

I have written a couple that I think aren't too bad but I'm just wanting to know what others find work well.

also where can I advertise other than craigs list?

    Thank you very much!
