Let's Talk About Getting Backlinks

Using networks such as the BNET in Firepow and services like fantomaster's 10linksaday.net are waaaay powerful. No way to do this for free, but it works.

Can you elaborate on these networks? Are they just simple linkfarms? I am scared to join any such networks because I believe Google will eventually reach them and penalize us!

I have an idea but not sure if this is actually going to work. Perhaps some feedback/critique from more senior members will shed more light on this.

How about buying domain names that are PR3+ (any niche). Set up an autoblog on them (about the same niche as your money site) and pull a few articles a day from an RSS feed. Make a blogpost on these autoblogs with your anchor text linking back to your money site. Voila. You just received a backlink from a high PR site within your niche with your anchor text.

Will this work? Thoughts?

Somebody will answer this question? It sound great technique

Yeah this will work and give some good link juice. But You would probably need to invest in a good hosting plan that you can have separate IPs on if you are going to have multiple domains.

If all your sites are pointing from one IP to your money site, Google will notice this eventually.

Also, buying PR 3+ domains will cost you some cash.

If you have the money to spend, you can make this work and get some good results from it.

I've found some high traffic blogs in my niche that don't get any comments, for whatever reason. In any case, I get some traffic off of them.

My YouTube page does OK when I put up a cool video.

nice post, it's very useful to have most of the methods to get backlinks together

i read long time ago also someone saying that you can also donate money to many website (usually ONG's) and you will get a backlink ... i think that donate $5, to say something, to get a high PR backlink is worth

Does it matter how many backlinks you develop a day?

Like can I go crazy and just do as many backlinks as I can in one day or would spreading it out make a difference?

I have never bothered too much with link building apart from a little blog commenting, occasionally submitting a blog post to a few social media sites and a touch of Yahoo Answers once in a while. This has brought in a small amount of traffic for the sites that I have done this for but nothing spectacular.

The thing is, the very first website I ever made has generally been at #1 in Google for well over a year now. This site has only 146 external links which have occurred naturally over time just like big G wants. One thing the site has is lots of good content (not all unique either) and a large number of internal links (2735).

I have done hardly any link building for this particular site but I did get some very good reciprocal links from other sites in that niche, who asked for them because they recognised a decent site when they saw it.

I have even had requests from magazines and TV people to see if I could find some of my visitors for them to interview so I guess they see it as a bit of an authority site, which is quite funny really as I only created it to sell affiliate products.

What I am saying is that a quality site in a particular niche doesn't need thousands of back links to succeed.

Last month, I started a blog for msoffice, I am wondering why it got PR1 on this PR update because It had a few links from other my other pr2 blog. It is just one month old site, has pr1 now and a good traffic. I think traffic means a lot for search engine. We work all the time to fetch traffic but I'll say that it is another factor in web rankings and authority. I might be wrong.

Blog postings are good as well as forum posts. Also as mentioned on BHW before use the technique of having a smiley :) as your anchor text if a sig isnt allowed.

Have any of you ever put links in the profiles of Social Networking sites? I have been doing this for a while and have got some rankings from that alone. I was skeptical at first because it is "page rank" not site rank. But it seems to work pretty good. Let me know if anyone else has tried this approach.

What do you guys think about Video submissions and PAD (software) submissions? I heard PADs get tons of backlinks. How would you go about doing this?

use the method just like 30minutesbacklinks does. and submit the backlink to tons of software directories.

for video submission, try use Traffic Geyser.. it's cool..

I think Blog commenting and forum posting are very important for SEO. They are easy to do and get quick results.

Yes, that's right, I suggest ******** Blog commenting service, and then we can go for directory submission and forum posting which is ********.

You will get some nice backlinks quickly with these methods for sure.

I've tried a few auto link building softwares but to no avail. I personally think it's just as easy to build backlinks manually. I use Google and search for a forum e.g. on Google type this exactly: "powered by invision" and one by one, knock them all off. There's more than 50 million backlinks to get so don't worry about running out. I also use siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com to see how many backlinks my competitors have so I know how many I need before I start outranking them. I also the AddThis button so users can add my link wherever. Mine is a movie website and on each movie I provide a direct link, BB link and HTML link so that users can share a movie. This alone will build backlinks for you.

i've been using free traffic system to get quality backlinks by submitting articles. in my experience, i submitted 4 articles, within 2 weeks or so my keyword is in the #1st position.
Even though its free but the quality of backlinks are good. sometimes you got PR3 - PR4 oneway backlinks to your site.

yes can anyone comment on fantommasters ten links a day?
Yeah even I would like to know more about fantomaster's 10 links a day! Is it safe enough?

Also I don't see you guys talking about sponsoredreviews.com and payperpost.com. I believe they are good resourced to build quality links too. Anyone using them or any other networks like linkworth.com perhaps?
