Let's talk about cheap rootable phones

I'm looking to start moving my grown accounts from using bluestacks to an android phone/tablet. Can anyone recommend a good device I can buy (ebay, amazon, etc) that isn't pricey and is easily rootable?

I guess my price range would be ~$75-100
