Let's see you solve it ...

WRONG!! if the multiplication needed to be done seperately it should have been between () and it is NOT

so the correct answer is 1

Brackets, Exponents, Division, Multiplication, Addition, Subtraction

() is before x

x is before +

It's the rule of basic mathematics

Even if I was wrong you don't have to be an asshole about it, now you just look stupid

3 (first two lines don't matter)... didn't read the responses yet to be fair.

update: Sorry, missed x for + so it's 2.

Hot sure why people complaining.
The OP gave you a working method to spam the web and get away with it.

which direction is turning this woman?

spinningwoman.gif

According to the supporting leg, she is rotating on right.

About the math spam - 1 :)

hey guys.. im new here, relex :)
it's not a spam.. it's really nice Mathematical exercise.
any way.. you guys right - it's 12.

The totals are:
5 on the top line,
1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 5,

5 on the 2nd line
1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 5,

and 2 on the last line. The last line must be restructured to make better sense though: like:
1 + (1 * 0) + 1 = 2

The first line and the second line, both are not connected to their respective next lines with any mathematical sign, so the additions should end at the end of the lines, and the totals displayed for them individually.

P.S.:
And as the question mark is for the 3rd line only, so no need to total the 1st two lines. The right answer is:
1 + (1 * 0) + 1 = ? = 2

HTH

29 groups of 0 is still 0, add 0 and 1 and your answer is...? 1

The hot woman (even as a silhouette) is making me go crazy, whatever direction she is rotating! :D

of course 12
do multiplication first 1st and totalizing other number.. :)

I answer 10. By treating the line breaks as the equivalent of a multiplication (in the same vein as two variables being next two each other are multiplied).

So with that in mind

1+1+1+1+1=5 *
1+1+1+1+1 =9 *
1 + 1 x 0 + 1 = 10

:D Which Mathematics rule defines that a line-break is an alternative to a multiplication sign?

Naah, I think you're spamming on BHW with so many posts, (some are good btw), and thereby making un-calculated mistakes! What's the hurry to reach min 15 posts? Something un- mathematics on the mind, ... Sorcerer? ;)

Someone sent me a PM I can't respond to, but really want to lol. Guy pretty much gave me a complete "tutorial" on what I might be interested in checking out on the site, so it's just frustrating not being able to reply.

*snickers* You totally called me out :P

At least he's been adding info to the site with his posts instead of the "thanks for the share" type spammers. He's probably ultimately here for business opportunities (a lot of us are), but he seems to be mindful of the rules. If I'm wrong it will come out, it always does

As for the PM, I think he means me. I showed him some of the funny threads like Ceosam, Muscleteen, and papal monkey

Yep, I meant you!

It's getting late and I'm getting tired, so hopping off soon. Honestly don't know if I'm ultimately going to stay here for that reason, my day job pays well enough. I'm here more out of boredom, and because it's an industry I've been involved in for years so I'm not a complete newb.

I lurk in forums I'd be a complete subject matter newb in. I don't like looking stupid... at least when not in jest.

Also I like teaching, and some of the posts I've seen so far.... too many face palms :/
