If you do a search for negative seo, third down you will see negativeseo.co. The title on their webpage says

"Blast your competitors out of the SERPs with Negative SEO"

They offer a service intended to ruin the livelihood of their competitors, which to me is the lowest of the low. According to them: "We are not criminals!! We are Internet marketers!! We build backlinks to the websites of your rivals."

I say we give them a taste of their own medicine and see if we can't send them to the abyss like they've done to others. Currently its a pagerank 2 with only 122 backlinks so this may be doable.

Any suggestions on how best to do this?

Are you in?

..... and why? They are in business because google allows them to be. Until Google fixes this situation everybody is vulnerable so trying to sink a negative SEO company is not necessary, let nature take its course.

This isn't personal. Negative seo is something thats potentially affecting the entire internet community.

NSEO is the new way forward at the moment, you either join them or get beat. I do IM because I am here to make money and I will make that money ethically or unethically.

Should NSEO become widespread, Google would surely change their tunes. I have seen an uptick in spammy blog comments for more reputable brands, but it is quite limited at this point. For NSEO to work, they need to utilize some toxic paid links.

They do negative SEO by creating backlinks to the competition? What a niche! Pure genius!

I am a newbie at SEO and think you should build instead of destroy but I like this idea.
Any client is your personal ATM while the never ending story continues. lmao!

Erm, I don't see a point in attacking them though, there are really doing nothing wrong and like I said: I like to build instead of destroy. That way you can have a reason to be proud of what you have accomplished.

I beg to differ. I agree with OP when he says "They offer a service intended to ruin the livelihood of their competitors, which to me is the lowest of the low."

However, IM is not only played by people who 'obey' rules. IMO, IM is just like the cold world we live in. There are two kind of people. Good people(IMers) and Bad aka cold-blooded people(IMers). You either have to adjust or deal with the consequences.

Actually, I think you just misunderstood me. Either that or I am terribly wrong about creating backlinks.

I don't care how they sell it, I just care about what they do. :)

Let me explain:
From time to time the subject of negative SEO comes up by some newbie. Most of that gets ignored but in some of them its explained that negative backlinking will only hurt a target temporarily, after some time it either gets ignored by G or helps in ranking the target creating a somewhat vicious circle...

Now there is a website to accommodate those n00bs, provided they actually do just backlinks. :)

Do you understand my ATM remark now?

You could potentially get caught be doing negative seo because you need to validate emails and for that you need to use an account you have access to. I su ppose you could just create a dummy hotmail account. But I wouldn't engage in it, no telling who might come after you w/ a law suit if you leave a footprint or identifying information.

Let me explain:

From my experience with NSEO, I noticed that NSEO actually works. But it tends to only work with < PR2 sites. Meaning that if you NSEO'ed a site with a PR of >= 3 with a decent link profile, then you will see the results that you have explained in your post. Also, just because the term NSEO is new to a person, doesn't make the 'n00bs'. In conclusion, I'd still beg to differ.

So what if they are doing negative seo, they have to eat too. If that's how they make their money so be it. My sites are authority sites and can't be beat by negative SEO so I don't give a F&^K! Lol. If you don't want them coming for your site get an AUTHORITY site.

What happens when Google changes there algo's and all those backlinks you created to your competition is now helping them?

Also if you really want to take out a competitors site then look up the term "Joe-Job" warning it is illegal.

Very informative. Thank you for that. :)

I retract my statement that they are not doing anything wrong after reading your reply and think you are right to differ. :)
People should just build a company instead of destroying other peoples work. The reason I thought it was genius is that they were not actually hurting the target long term.

Being new is nothing to be ashamed of I think but I did use n00b in a derogatory way because people that cheat to get ahead will always stay n00bs/newbies/amateurs in my opinion as there is no long time profits in it. Nothing to be proud of.
To take money from such people while actually helping the competition is just genius to me, hence my initial reply.

I still don't want to attack this nSEO company though.
