So I wanted to start this thread to hear from everyone the first method they ever used to make their first buck online. I think this thread will help a bunch of newbies like myself and also just introduce new ideas to people. .You dont have to go into detail here with your way of doing things. I guess since I started the thread I'll start it off even though its kind of embarrassing cause I have only made 6 dollars haha the ole classic craigslist and cpa! Lets hear yours!

My first method was selling Ebooks in Ebay, I still do it but just to pay my basic IM expenses.
Easy but low money in my opinion.
 
i work in facebook likes and stuff and still converts
 
My first IM success was an affiliate offer for a credit card. paid pretty sick, but also got saturated quick.
 
Made my first IM buck with an "Xbox Live Code Generator" site that I ranked #4 page 1 on Google for. Was making a steady $30-50/d until I dropped the site.

I have actually heard of a few guys doing this and have been paid to write articles for a couple of them doing psn codes and xbox live codes. Did the generator actually work and produce real codes? or did you just content lock it with cpa offers? I have free xbox live gold for life :tee:

The only thing I have done so far is CPA and craigslist, and writing articles on iwriter....I have no start up money as Im just a broke college kid :sad: so I dont have many options.
 
On a side note I do believe this belongs in the lounge right?

You are probably correct. Being a noob and all, I post everything in the making money section because I believe almost everything on this forum has something to do with making money lol. I was asking how people made their first dollar, therefore I figured it has to do with making money. Haha but if it needs to be moved, someone please do so if possible.

Made over $600 writing crappy review articles about motherboards, smartphones and laptops at $3 an article. That doesn't work anymore. But for 2012, I made $150 responding to yahoo contributor assignments, and writing fake stories that match the assignment, though that's also starting to not work anymore.

zsimpson22, what have you tried so far, in detail? What kind of help or tips or method are you looking for? Is producing legitimate work not method enough?
