Hello BHW community,

I am here to improve my knowledge about ethical link building and contribute meaningfully to community discussions.
After making many possible mistakes while running a PBN setup, I have refined approach for constant ranking.

My main question is, what's your indication of penalty-free and truly safe links?

A penalty-free and truly safe backlink is one that aligns with Google's Webmaster Guidelines and appears natural both in source and context.

There's nothing like ethical link building from Google's perspective.

Link building itself is cheat, and not ethical in Google's eyes.

To go ethical way, just publish meaningful contents, share on social media, and encourage people to share and also reference your pages.

The only way to build links ethically is to produce really good content - think long-form informational content that covers a cluster of keywords comprehensively. Then you encourage sites to link to that content naturally.

If you want to build links that look as natural as possible, and therefor appear to be a result of the above, then do the same thing with the content - produce content that would attract links - and then build high quality guest posts to that content - replicating the type of links you would attract naturally.
