Hey All,

Yet another newbie to BHW, Corona pushing me to the digital world as my local business has become one of its victims...

Building websites / landing pages is the easy part...

I am diving into affiliate marketing but being hit by analysis paralysis as there is so much information available on the net and there are so many different ways of getting started as an affiliate marketer that is becomes extremely difficult to select an offer/product and marketing strategy (both paid and free) and get started (which really is what needs to happen...)

I am joining this forum hoping to find some clarity in the vast amount of possibilities and get started asap...

Feel free to reach out to me with any proposals and/or link to useful guides on SEO and affiliate marketing, I'd love to see things move!

Start now buddy, forum is full of useful things :)

Welcome, as you'll hear, here is the Making Money section https://www.blackhatworld.com/forums/making-money.12/
Take a look at the https://www.blackhatworld.com/forums/newbie-guide.242/, there is a lot in there, but it's worth it ;)
Here is a compilation of guides that helped me - https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/2...king-threads-corona-lockdown-special.1223698/
In order to find more useful posts, you can make use of the search function and also the Filter option to sort threads by likes, as mentioned here - https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/official-thread-welcome-to-bhw-2-0.1244734/post-13367390
Best of luck!

What was your local business?
Printing stickers, banners and apparel, both B2C and B2B... The B2C customers have been trained to stay away and purchase online ( a few days longer delivery but certainly at lower cost) The B2B customers are out of budget and struggle themselves (or had to close shop).
I am capable of migrating this business to an online business but that would be a bad decision, in this world I am unable to compete against larger and/or foreign entities...

Thanks man,
Really great compilation!!! That is going to boost my analysis paralysis a lot !!!
Nothing I can do against it I suppose... Already been reading for on the forum for hours now, not seeing the end of the tunnel yet but that's the destiny of anybody starting something new.
As we all know, persistence is power ;)

You can print stuff with our BHW nicknames and avatars - I would pay for that!

:) Thanks for thinking with me!

Yup I could, the services I offered were exactly that but for a very local set of customers. Never been able to expand online as unfortunately shipping costs are unreasonable in my country! For example shipping a T-shirt to the US would add about 20 US$ to the bill... (even local shipping is expensive at about 9 US$. And one needs substantial amounts of monthly orders before being able to obtain shipping discounts)

This is a great time to start.

Supplies, labor, investments are cheap right now.

Everyone is shopping online. Or on their social media, playing video games etc.

Everyone is shopping online.
I know, this is exactly where I lost my B2C customers, during months being constrained to their homes (and all shops except food and medical supplies being closed) they have gotten used to ordering online... The power of habit...
