Lets discuss.. are you agree with this statement?

You?ve probably noticed by now, or you?re seeing now, that this WordPress SEO post is actually? not a post. It?s a page. Why? Well for several reasons. First of all, this article needed to be a ?daughter?-page of my WordPress page, to be in the correct place on this blog. Secondly, to rank for the term [WordPress SEO], this article has to have the right keyword density. And that?s where things go wrong. Comments destroy your carefully constructed keyword density.

That?s why I decided to make my most important articles into pages. That way, you can easily update them and do a new post about what you?ve changed.

I read a guide by Yoast (the dev of Yoast SEO) where he stated that comment density can mess your onpage SEO.
Personally I think comment can actually help onpage SEO since your page will be updated frequently (and automatically).

I think his page get good rank for the keyword because many people link to it and the authority his site has.
Nothing big to do with post or page.

I love to hear your opinion about this.

Why not just focus on quality content and not so much with keyword density? I believe that comments help rankings, and popular pages get natural links to them because of that.

At least that's what I've noticed. That's the whole point right? To make our stuff look as natural as possible? I agree with you and not so much with your source article.

The more words on the page, the more it affects keyword density and relevance to the search query.

As people add comments, they dilute the message of the original post.
