To address your comment...
No. Difficulty is largely subjective but the fact that so many people have had success with Adsense (on this forum, and even on this very thread!) in addition to the fact that Google does around $9 billion in revenue every year (see for yourself) should quell your concerns that Adsense is 'kinda hard.'

I started with 5. Tumblr (Aged PR4), WP(Aged), Blogspot (Aged), LiveJournal, Squidoo.
You can use other top 20 also, they all bring great link juice.

How did you find these aged 2.0 domains. I am planning on creating a few new web2.0 sporadically in the next few weeks/months with different ips, and then link back to my website over the course of a few months. Somewhere in there I will also be slowly building my tier 2s and tier 3s.

I have never done anything like this, does this seem like an okay idea? Looking forward to the next update

Also I gave an example with exact match in other thread - keyword = "maldives all inclusive". What do you think of it?

If you're seriously thinking about pursuing that keyword I highly suggest that you take down all evidence of it from this thread.

Off course, I won't use the keyword, I am just asking if the keyword is competitive or not. Sacrificing one good keyword in order to learn something invaluable(judging competition) is pretty much costless.

Hi guys, while we're waiting for more from Marrrko, thought I'd shoot a question for "the experienced ". A few months ago I picked up a keyword which appeared to have had a decent number of searches per month (over 5000 according to GKP and LTP) and an EMD was available. I made a noob's mistake and disregarded the fact, that advertisers competition was Low and I went with it. It turned out in the end that the main KW brings over 40 000 uniques a month and I am the 3rd on the first page, but since advertisers competition is low, adsense clicks are extremely chip.
Does anybody know how to remedy/improve this? What I've started doing is adding content with KWs of High advertisers competition, is this a viable strategy? Any thoughts on this are greatly appreciated.

If I was you, I would remove Adsense and add Amazon Affiliate program if the niche can be applied.

You probably need to improve CTR. If you have 100K pageviews or more per month you should be earning around $400 - $500 per month even in the lowest paying niche. You did nothing wrong. I can help you with CTR but do not post URL here. You can send me a pm with more details.
