So many great posts by people keep getting knocked down the pages because spam posts get like 40 replies now

Some jackass creates an account, his first post is spam, and instead of just letting it die a quick death, people jump in every five minutes to say:

"nice spam"

"way to go, first post here and it's spam"

"i can't believe people try this shit here"

and on

and on

and on

Can we all agree that when we come across a spam post, we just let it die and don't say a fucking word about it?

All that happens when you comment, is the post rises to the top and 50 more members check it out because they think:

"hey look at all the views and comments, this must be interesting!"

then they come in and see it's spam

then they post a FUCKING COMMENT like:

"fuck I thought this was going to be good info and it's spam"

and the post rises back to the top.

If you're down with this pact, post a comment here, and if you get seen bumping a spam thread, you have to pay Worldly Panther $5 for each offense.

Actually, instead of just letting it die, use the "report" button to report the post. Every mod will get an email notification of the post's location, so one of us can go and delete it -- and possibly ban the user for SPAMMING. =)

PS - the report button it the little button with a ! (exclamation mark) on it.

Everyone is a spam moderator, just use the report button

Yeah I rarely sleep, too much fun stuff to try each day. That's a good point about using the report button, I guess that's why Clix is a moderator.

I still think people should agree to not escalate the issue with posting, just hit the report button and go about your biznass

spam is bad but many people love to spam............LOL
