Hello,

I recently started using flippa I came across some of the auctions in which reserve price is less than $ 19. I am unable to understand why someone would sell a website at this price when the cost of posting is $ 19. Am I missing something..? Would be thankful if someone clarify this.

You get more bids usually if you put no reserve. Just watch the auctions .

Al right Kind of getting the logic now..

Some people start bids from 0$ but people bids on auctions and get more that 19$

Thats becuase people do this because they know they can sell their sites above it .

A very logical reply indeed. What if there is no bid?

Sellers don't need a reserve if they have a bunch of shill bidding accounts. That's the correct answer. Their fake buyer accounts guarantee them a website won't sell for a loss. On those websites you're bidding against the seller most of the time.
