...ahem. Sorry for the Scooby reference.
Anyways, it's good to meet you all. I mainly came here after learning about SEO-type stuff through a friend letting me borrow his old copy of the Rich Jerk, and I mainly came here for two reasons:
1. To see just how outdated it is compared to today's tactics. The internet is obviously something that rapidly changes from day to day, and you never know when something might become obsolete. Well, you KINDA do, but it just so happens you don't for the stuff you love, ya dig?
2. To see if it's possible to compile information for people who are more or less "just scraping by," but want to devote themselves to SEO marketing for what's basically pocket change. I don't expect anything I gather to be top-of-the-line obviously, but I'm the type of person who believes, "If it works, do it." Of course, since I'm still totally new to any actual SEO stuff despite me basically religiously reading everything through the copy I got, for all I know someone who ain't a sub-80 IQ person like me might've already done it.
Plus, I haven't done much, if any lurking yet...
That being said, I ain't gonna ask anyone to go and spoonfeed me either if they don't wanna. The value of lurking is timeless and always important. However, if it doesn't already exist, I hope to eventually have a guide to the poor man's SEO by the time I've learned and tried everything.
Just scrappin' by,
