Legitimate Facebook Fan page traffic generation

Sorry, if there's been a similar post before.

So, I have a Facebook fan page with almost 20 likes for a record label that has just started and need a ton more . Now, I want to generate legitimate likes. I was initially thinking about running a Facebook ad but I dont know if that would be the correct avenue for what I'm looking for?

Is there an alternative source for acquiring likes that I don't know about ? We Generate tons of media, Audio /Video and the niche is huge.

We also have a word press site that house's our blog and most of the other content.

I'm also looking for a more effective way to promote the brand in general.

I think the best way is to advertise your page ...
You will not get real traffic except that way ...

There are few people who are selling real fans but they use some BH tactics to generate those real likes.

Place a "Like Box" in your site. Don't link any RSS feeds. Share the page with all of your friends. Advertise in other pages as your page. That should get you 1k fans in some time, worked for me!

Do some S4S (support for support) with other FB pages in music arena. Start a Pinterest account, post some pics with links back to the FB page. Just make sure you build some followers on Pinterest first.
