Legit channel help?

So I have a channel, its very new but I want to take it seriously. I was wondering what methods I should take to help me grow organically. I feel like loading it with 10,000 fake views does nothing for me in the long run.

To be a bit more specific it is a gaming channel. I know I won't find success overnight but the reason I am here is to take the odds into my own hands a little bit instead of playing that youtube algorithm roulette. I'm looking for a way to tip the odds in my favour a little bit!

Any ideas? I appreciate the time!
