Hi there dudes.

I would like to ask bout hostings. I've talked with a lawyer and he told me that doesn't care about where do i have my hosting located, i mean if i do something illegal the law is applied where i do the administration work.

Is it this true?

I'm just asking this because i would like to do a forum and maybe i get denounced from some enterprise, thouse complaints will go to no where but it's is a shit to go judgment 24/7

PD: But as lawyer said my activity will be from the coutry i actually live so... I will still have those law problems...

thanks for your time guys

It's the country/state you're located in, not the hosting.... otherwise, everybody would host in countries with undeveloped legal system...

So why should i rent a offshore hosting if i'll have the same problems...

Legality is based in the country you live. You can see this in the T&C's on most sites. If you read through them.

Because, if you have whois protection and don't include imprint, legal actions aren't as easy to use against you, as you have more privacy.

Why are you asking people on a BlackHat Forum for legal advice when you've already consulted with a lawyer? A lawyer will know best and you should take their advice and take anyone's advice here with a grain of salt.

Also, if that is where your target audience then it would help with connection times, but that would probably be minimal.

Yes your lawyer is right, But hiding your identity and start with offshore hosting will help. Make yourself hard to trace that is only possible way
