Legal Question Regarding Batteries

Planning on buying a batch of generic extended cell phone batteries off of DHGATE that were built for a particular cell phone model. Is it legal? I bought an extended battery off of Amazon and so far it has nearly doubled my cellphone battery life.

Chances are that it isn't, but always make sure on DHgate to ask (and this is not sarcasm) One million questions about the item because there are alot of shifty cats on that site!

Buying a generic battery is legally no risk, as long is it bears no brand or generic brand it is ok to buy them.

Since the question was only about legality so i wont comment on quality though
