Legal Issue or Google Issue?

    So I have a noob question. I've just starting researching keywords for my first niche website. I was stumbling along through things and had a question. If you do a site that is somehow linked to a celebrity, or movie, etc. Can you get into any trouble for putting pictures / material on the site. I'm not talking about putting like a whole movie online or something like that, just a couple pieces of material that's relevant to the link. I'm guessing the answer is no, since there are endless websites out there with screen grabs and pictures of celebrities, but I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't get you google slapped. Thanks.

    No. I do not really think this would get you into trouble. Except PORN . :)

    Slapped, unlikely. But if you're posting copyrighted material you may get threatened by the owner.

    Don't post copyrighted material and everything will go well.

    most movie companies will allow you to use the movie's trailer and won't complain unless you post an exceptionally bad review
