Legal/Illegal ?! Please help ? :)

Hey people,
I just have a quick question , and I really need an answer for this..

If I have a general forum , can I add "Serials" and/or "Crack" section ? Is it illegal to do this ?? what if i mention in rules like "No paid cracks or whatever" ??

What about movies section ? can I do that ??

Please answer me brothers really appreciate

Posting Serial Numbers and Cracks for sites is Illegal.
But, you need to know the laws of the place you are hosting as well as where you live.
Just do some google searches to see if you are allowed to do this. You might also want to read the Ts&Cs for your hosting.

You may want to consider checking out the Internet laws for that

You are directly helping in piracy.

Movies section with rips (not trailers) is same as crack/serial..

safe not to do it.

But if you run a forum, and someone else post those serial numbers, you are not responsible even though it's on your site.

But if you create a section for "Free Serial #s" then you are responsible.

You will need

1. To be hosted in a country out of juristiction from most laws.
2. Often you will need to be prepared for an exit strategy
3. It will need to be worth the risk - worse they will do is have you taken down. if its really nasty stuff then they will investigate. There are millions of them you will need to be experienced coder and have a dont give a shit attitude to stress.
4. The PUBLISHER of content can be held responsible even if the person posting is not the publisher...so find a loop hole where the publisher can not be held responsible.
5. Make it member only so you know who is using it and grow it organically or slowly.
