Leaving links to Amazon Affiliate website in Youtube comments

Is it effective and safe to drop a link to my Amazon Affiliates niche website in the Youtube comments section under relevant videos? I want to ensure my site doesn't get penalized but it seems like this would be fine so I just wanted to see if anyone has any insight into this marketing tactic?

What you probably could do is make an affiliate website, spam that in the comments and from that website send people to different relevant products. I am not meaning redirecting them via your affiliate site, just list the products in a table and write a few words on each. Not sure the traffic will convert well, though!
