Hi all. So I have been waiting for this day to come. I joined this forum a month back and got to know some precious stuff regarding automation. I plan to use youtube, quora, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, and Tumblr as my traffic source. I want to use these traffic sources to generate some income for myself. I am posting manually on FB, interest, but I don't think that would be a good thing to do. I need to automate the whole process rather than just posting manually and not getting results. Now, I have decided to learn programming to make bots for myself as I have seen other members doing that for themselves. They don't want to share their scripts which is quite okay and understandable and I don't have enough money to hire a programmer and get him to code stuff for me. I rather have decided to learn this invaluable skill for doing some cool projects. Today, I purchased the Udemy course in python and I plan to complete it in 15-16 days with a full understanding. I will keep you guys updated regarding that.
Thanks, BHW community!

Good luck with that! It may take a little longer to fully understand, but you should give it some time.

Many ppl need to google stuff in thr beginning, thats always a good way to learn. Just google for stuff you need...

Free tip:
Go to github and other sites like this and put in keywords like bot, insta, Twitter etc.

Lots of good stuff there.

I probably gave away piece of gold but OK...
yup thanks mate, i actually found some good stuff there in the past. it's just now i myself want to learn how to make things from scratch. I want to make custom bots for my purposes. but anyways thanks for the tip

I now have over 10 years of experience working with Python, and I can say I'm still learning.
Python is very vast.

Stick to a niche and master it.
If you're into bots, I would suggest you revolve your projects around requests, threading, beautifulSoup and Selenium. it's going to be your stack in which you want to be an expert.

If you're going at it the theoretical way, learning about sets, lists, mapping, etc, you'll develop burnout and want to quit.
Give yourself a small project and code scratches.

That's going to be a much faster and engaging way to learn.
Always, and I really mean ALWAYS type in the code you learn.
Even if it's copy paste, just type it manually in Visual Studio Code.

Brother, these lists, strings, functions are the basics right? Like how to define function, how to set variables etc. These things have to learnt in a theoretical way only right?

lets do this schedule 5 hours a day x 6 months?
Yeah why not, but i have a plenty of time. I have just graduated. I'm free at home. I want to learn everything about Black hat SEO, or marketing in general+ programming. I think this can do wonders for me if i apply this carefully.

It's good that you're ambitious but you'll eventually get stuck. I bet you'll miss your mark because it wasn't until I spent a whole year learning that programming clicked for me. So until then, slow it down because you're gonna burn out and get frustrated.

The key is to slow down when it gets hard while continuing with small little daily steps. I have 8 years of programming experience.

If you just want to make bots. You can still use Zennoposter, BAS, UBot and other no code software there is out there. It might sound "not professionnal coder", but I promise. They are soo much more helpful and let you run prototypes quickly. You can even develop commercial products using those. Something that can take 10 minutes to be done in python, will take 1 minute if you use those softwares.

Some might argue that there is not as much freedom in those softwares that in python, but they are specifically designed for SMM automation. I mean just look at the features, no sane software will add a default IMAP receive email feature or PVA verification. Those are obviously for spammers.

I mean it really doesn't worth learning to code when there is those alternatives. If you think about it, there is always someone you can pay to make a bot in worst case. I tell you, sometimes spending 1K$ for a bot is better than spending 3K or even more hours to learn the skill. You get the bot and make the income you want. Don't give 0 value to your time. Your time is as precious as money if you know how to use it correctly. Again, it depends on who you are. Coding is not made for everyone. You need to be extremely patient and consistent and truly love coding.

If you still want to learn how to code:
1. Python fundamentals
2. Learn how to read docs (Yes, it might overhelming, but it will help you so much and make your lives sometimes way more easier than googling your errors. Try to understand how the library works)
3. Little by little projects: The only way to learn programming is do projects that will make you experience. Don't be greedy! Even if the idea of a bot is useless and easy. You still need to do it, you will learn a lot.
4. Take breaks. a full 10 hours can make you go crazy and hate it. You will find it annoying when you will get those unexpected errors that you can't solve. Sometimes google solution won't work. The key is to take breaks and let your brain rest to think freshly. Sometimes the issue is just ahead of you, but you don't see it...

I love to see programming journeys pop up. As a programmer, I can tell you that it’s a neverending learning process, but don’t let that discourage you.

The feeling you get when you solve issues with your code or rewrite parts of it and it doesn’t actually break something else is amazing.

Just a few small tips:

- Learn Git/GitHub as well.
- Codeacademy, CodeWars, & LeetCode provide daily coding challenges to keep you crisp.
- For every new thing you learn, spend a few hours really working out the inner concepts of it. You want to fully understand everything you can as a beginner and don’t want to get stuck in what’s known as “tutorial hell”.
- Researching beginner & intermediate python projects on YouTube/Reddit will help you get a feel for real hands on Python usage.
- Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Programming can be frustrating/tough at times and someone has had that very same question you have while learning, so feel free to ask.
- Reddit, Twitter, and even BHW have involved programming communities. Your questions will be answered.

Good luck & don’t give up if it gets tough!

can you please tell what is meant by docs?

I have 500 videos that I scraped from Instagram. Now I want to upload them to youtube in the form of shorts. I want to upload 20 videos every day at different points in time. Right now, I am manually uploading them to the youtube creator studio and scheduling them each day. This is the first thing I do when I wake up. Now, it is kinda annoying since videos aren't getting too much traction. I want to automate this process. I want someone(a bot in this case) to upload videos every day and schedule them. How can I achieve this? I have 2 channels.. Is there a way to automate this?

The same goes for Facebook reels. I have to every time open the window and schedule 100s of videos which honestly takes a hell lot of time. Is there a way to automate such things? I don't wanna scrape anything. I have everything ready. I just want to automate this uploading and scheduling thing

my suggestioon complete understaning is impossible to achieve with course.
go make your own project than everytime you hit roadblock., than you find it from course or online how to do it.
just copy paste doing project they suggest, wont' help at all.

Skip Youtube, wasting time. Google ruined the shorts and they do not get views.
Upload to tiktok instead.
